Support
We recognise that the only time you will place a support call is when there is an issue which is affecting your ability to operate, so we have put together a support operation which is designed to help you to be back up and running as soon as possible. This consists of three main functions:
• Helpdesk – We will take your call, log it and provide you with a unique CSR (Customer Support Record) number as a reference. The call will be passed to one of our technical support staff and the second stage will begin
• Diagnostics – Our support staff will contact you to talk through the issue in detail and will dial into your system to understand exactly the problem. Once we have evidenced the issue we will move to the final stage
• Remedy – If the problem is identified as a hardware issue, one of our service personnel will be despatched to resolve the problem on-site or we will send you a replacement component and ask you to return the faulty unit for repair. If the problem is diagnosed as a software issue, it will be categorised as – critical, important or non critical and passed to our software development unit for resolution.
Once the issue is resolved we will communicate with you to clarify your acceptance and the incident will be closed.
Software Support
Our standard support operation is available seven days a week with the Helpdesk open from 08.45 until 17.45. Out of hours support is optionally available at additional cost. This is dependent on the hours of cover required. Our Helpdesk is backed up by advanced remote support software enabling us to offer excellent levels of service
Support is competitively priced and can be tailored to your exact requirements. You can be assured we deal with every call here in the UK through our own product trained support staff
Hardware Support
POS Ltd provides a nationwide hardware maintenance service for all the hardware it provides within the installation. We offer a number of different options dependent on your requirements. Response is within 8 hours for an on-site response. We offer a quick swap out of the problem device to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.
We carry large stocks of the common components ensuring we can offer a nationwide response and fist time fix
